   Yes, gov’t buys extra stuff to make sure we have it in emergencies. When the threats pass, it sells it. By the basic laws of supply & demand, it usually gets less than it paid. It’s not “waste,” it’s preparedness. Btw, nearly all GOP congresspeople think like Santos here.
