Caveat: I usually appreciate @DLeonhardt @nytimes newsletter. But this was the "more perspectives" highlighted on Afghanistan: No Afghan voices--no voices of color at all! It's how the lack of diversity in our civic debate leaves us w/ the same thinking, same bad decisions.
