US-wide #COVID19 #s are driving the narrative--but are misleading. This map (@NYTimes) shows why: US-wide # is driven by a few MAJOR hotspots. They go up, it goes up. They go down, it goes down. But there are NEW hotspots (orange). "Opening up" pours gas on them. Not good.
